Youtube's New "SELF-CERTIFICATION" Program For Monetization - Is It A Good Thing? ─ TAOFLEDERMAUS

This new program, which I THINK is limited to just some channels, is an attempt by Youtube to be more transparent towards creators so they will know the rules of what is monetizable or not. (Let me know if you see or don't see this option if you are a video creator).
IF this is a limited program, I do not know what criteria they use to determine which channels get it, and when, and all that.

Since this is so new to me, I can not tell if this is going to help us or hurt us even more. Even though I am an optimist, I do not see Youtube ever returning to the good old days.

The program:

<style>.embed-container { position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%; height: 0; overflow: hidden; max-width: 100%; } .embed-container iframe, .embed-container object, .embed-container embed { position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; }</style><div class="embed-container"><iframe src="" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
