This is a follow-up of the magnetic projectile video where it wasn't certain if the aluminum foil tube was collapsing due to Lenz's law (magnetic flux) or from the shock wave.
I should point out that the magnets were not heating causing them to lose magnetism. They were insulated from the burning gases by the wadding, insulated from barrel friction by the shot cup, and did not have enough time to be heated by heat of compression in the millisecond they were flying.
