Chronos 1.4 high speed camera after TWO YEARS (review) ─ TAOFLEDERMAUS

We've had our Chronos camera for two years and I wanted to do an update of how the camera has worked for us. Our camera is serial number 3 and was a pre-production model. Even though it has worked great for us, it was no longer a good example of how well the LATEST versions of the cameras perform. The cooling fan was also starting to die and even though it was only running at 10% of the speed it should have, the camera never over-heated and crashed- even when it was 105 deg. outside! David, the inventor and owner of the company asked me to return the camera so they could update it. The turn-around time was fast. With all the updates, the improvements are obvious. Faster boot-up time, faster file saves, better user-interface, high-quality ball-bearing fan, improved colors, faster black calibration, cleaner imagery, etc. I filmed a few videos since I got the camera back, see for yourself!

The only original part we got back was the billet camera housing. The new cases are still aluminum, but have markings for the ports, more 1/4-20 mounting points, and a few other tweaks.
