The Perfect Minimal Laptop Desk Setup for 2018!
Check out the LG Gram: https://amzn.to/2IHiBeV
My take on a minimal laptop desk that keeps things streamlined and lets me use my laptop at my desk or on the go â no muss, no fuss. It has just three main components: the laptop, the desk, and the monitor. The centerpiece is, of course, the LG gram 2018. It's portable, super light and incredibly powerful â with a high-performance 8th Gen. IntelÂŽ Core⢠i7 processor, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD and up to 17 hours of battery life. It also has tons of ports, including a USB Type-C⢠port â which is what makes it possible to connect the gram to a monitor for a minimal desk setup.

Starting from the ground up, the desk is from IKEA, and has some seriously solid wood and contrasting legs. On top of the desk is the LG 27UK850-W â a 4K UHD IPS display that can be used horizontally or vertically. It also has a USB Type-C⢠port that connects the monitor to the gram and makes all the magic happen. The mouse and keyboard are from Microsoft and connect to the back of the monitor, so you can leave them at the desk, where they'll be ready whenever you are.
As for the chair, it's from Amazon.com, and it's super affordable, insanely comfortable, and looks great with the desk. Last, but not least, are the speakers. They're actually the LG SJ7 sound bar â and not only do they look and sound amazing, but they connect wirelessly to the gram, and makes the whole minimal desk setup really work.
