We shoot three custom-machined titanium diabolo shaped slugs that Tim Hamilton sent me a year or so a go. We recovered each of them. We then reloaded and re-shot one of these slugs a total of 3 times. The targets we shot at would completely destroy/deform a lead projectile. The titanium slugs are extremely strong but if we had shot a thick steel plate, yes, they would have been more damaged. The idea was to recover these so they could be reloaded time and time again.
