Okay, I confess this has nothing to do with the Flintstones - except that the crossbow I made for the video looks very much like a "Flintstones" movie prop!
The challenge I received from a fan was: Can you build a legit crossbow with hand tools only and without your precious industrially made wood? With woods you find in the forest and a bit of rubber, maybe some paracord?
I set out to master the challenge... and was surprised how well the weapon works. It looks ugly as heck, but it IS legit.
