Today we demonstrate some advanced Russian sabot slugs. This is basically a large caliber bullet (14.5 mm) that obtains stability by small fins like a mortar round. We received 7 of these to test out. 6 were loaded with 30 grains of Longshot, and the 7th with 40 grains. Normally, it takes hundreds or even thousands of test shots to determine the correct powder AND the correct quantity to find the "sweet spot" where the slugs perform their best.
