The French make some very strange shotgun slugs. In this video we test out some legendary Blondeau "S" steel slugs sometimes called "bobbin bullets". I found several articles on the internet where they claimed these could not only penetrate armor, but still had enough energy to damage the engine of German vehicles from WW2. I loaded these slugs pretty hot and should be getting velocities greater than they were in the 1940's. Let's see if the articles are accurate, or just more internet hyperbole.
