Australian SHOTGUN Slugs - "Unrifled Foster slugs" ─ TAOFLEDERMAUS

We tested one of Denver's slugs a few weeks ago, checking a powder load before we committed all of his slugs to the same load. It functioned quite well. It may have looked a little wobbly but that is common for slugs with no spin stabilization as the rear end of the slug bounces around inside the shock wave cone. I loaded up the remaining slugs much hotter using a different powder to achieve velocities of 1625 fps. These slugs are about 5 grams heavier than a 28g. (1oz) Foster slug and were shot a little faster than most commercial Foster slugs.
