Silly Putty shot from a gun at 800 MPH - For science! ─ TAOFLEDERMAUS

We have shot silly putty from a shotgun before, but nothing this large. In this video we shoot 12 grams of silly putty packed in thick-walled glass tubes. Though the results were not exactly what I hoped for, it ended up being more amazing. This is an extreme example of a non-Newtonian fluid subjected to tremendous force and brutal conditions.
No, this would not work with cornstarch and water!
No, a break-action has a tapered barrel and would not work!
YES! We have been planning to shoot Prince Rupert drops for a couple months. Stay tuned!
Thank you again Sam for providing the glass tubes! I hope you will check out his channel and say "HI" to him!
